The MRT 3 Fare Matrix is based on a distance-based system. The cost of a trip depends on the number of stations traveled and the total distance traveled. They also offer discounted fare for students, children, and PDWs. MRT 3 has 13 stations from North Avenue in Quezon City to Taft Avenue in Pasay City. The rail stretches along Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) with approximately 16.9 kilometers in distance.

MRT-3 fare ranges from PHP 13 to PHP 28. Traveling through MRT-3 from North Avenue to Taft Avenue will cost P28. A Minimum fare of PHP 13 for first 2 stations traveled.

 

MRT 3 Discounted Fare Matrix

MRT 3 provides fare discounts:

Discounted fares ranges from PHP 13 to PHP 22. Traveling through MRT-3 from North Avenue to Taft Avenue will cost P22 for Student, children and PWD.

Students: Students are eligible for a 20% discount on fares. They need to present a valid school ID.

Senior Citizens and PWDs: Senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs) can have a 20% discount on MRT 3 fares upon presentation of their Identification Card.

Children: Children below a certain height (usually 3 feet) travel for free when accompanied by a paying adult.

Beep Card

Beep Card is a re-loadable card that provides convenience for regular commuters. Beep Cards offer discounted fares compared to single journey tickets and can be used across different lines, including LRT 1 and LRT 2, as well as other forms of public transportation like buses and jeepneys.

Purchasing and Reloading Beep Card

Beep cards can be purchased and re-loaded at any ticket kiosk and window counters located in all Train stations. additionally, you can also reload your beep card at any partner outlets, convenience stores, and mobile applications.
